Backer rewards: Backer rewards are live in Shardfall. If you’re a backer waiting for your custom gauntlets, you will now find them in your inventory. They use our new Gauntlet skin system, so you can keep them equipped as you progress without affecting your character stats.
Gauntlet skin system: The character inventory screen has been updated to include gauntlet skins. These skins come in 3 parts and can be applied to any gauntlets in your inventory.
Main menu navigation: The main menu navigation has been overhauled in response to feedback from our players. Use the left thumbstick to jump between menu options and the right thumbstick to control the cursor.
Balancing & Improvements
Gauntlet animations: Added animations showcasing the player’s Gauntlets at the start of the session and when equipped in the inventory screen.
Final encounters: New boss arenas have been added for additional variety in the final encounters.
UI: The Perk overlay is now activated by pressing the right thumbstick rather than the Left to avoid activation when steering.
Bug fixes
Statistics: Fixed a bug leading to inconsistencies in the Pace score.
Quell score: Fixed a bug causing the Quell score to display inconsistently.
Blocking: Improved the block detection to ensure players can consistently enter and exit block without their hands becoming stuck.
