Impact is the world’s first dedicated fitness platform at the nexus of where games and healthy living meet

Today we announced that the Impact will be playable for the first time at the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco next month.

The booth will be in GDC’s South Hall from Monday 20th March to Friday 24th March. Appointments to test Impact at GDC can be booked by emailing quell@honest-pr.com.

This follows the earlier announced completion of a highly successful $10 million funding round led by Tencent with follow-on investment from Khosla Ventures, Heartcore Capital, Social Impact Capital and entrepreneur Naval Ravikant. This latest round brings Quell’s total financing to $15.6 million.

The Impact provides players with a gym-quality workout at home and is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities. The inbuilt fitness trackers measure calories burned, heart rate and speed, and can automatically adjust the game and the workout difficulty to deliver high-intensity exercise.

Impact’s first title will be Shardfall, an intense Action RPG experience where players battle mystical creatures that threaten the sanctity of the Sacred Forest.

Impact will be available to fitness and gaming enthusiasts alike when it launches later in 2023.

Luke Donovan-King, VP, said: “We’re so excited to be able to get the Impact in the hands of people for the first time in a public setting. This is going to be a monumental year for Quell as we build up to our global launch, and we can’t wait to show you all the incredible things our team has been hard at work on”
